In order to translate the business requirements into the design and delivery of technology applications we are currently looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our IT team supporting our Global Human Health subsidiary based in Moorgate, London.

As the Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the development and major enhancements to existing solutions and data/information management; for both internally Our Company facing solutions and externally customer or patient solutions.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

• Design client-side and server-side architecture • Build mobile-first, front-end applications with appealing visual design • Design & write effective Application Programming Interface • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software • Create security and data protection settings • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications • Write technical documentation • Understanding of Git is essential • Front-End Development • React is the primary front-end technology • JavaScript & Typescript • HTML & CSS • Back-end development is largely comprised of serverless microservices, as such knowledge of multiple back-end languages and frameworks is desirable • Node.js • Unit testing • Desired: Amazon Web Services certified developer • Database Development • Experience with data modelling & development in either or Relational or Non-Relational database management systems is preferrable • Agile principles • DevOps practices • Test Driven

Qualifications:

• Masters or bachelors in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar • Several year of Software Delivery experience • Demonstrable experience of all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle • Demonstrated experience with developing cross system information flows and conceptual data models • Knowledge on Data Integration patterns and Business Intelligence concepts • Amazon Web Services Certified Developer preferable • Participated in, or be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices preferable
