Job Description:

Stability and resilience are at the heart of our engineering culture, so our customers can trust us to operate their business-critical renewable generators in real-time. We are looking for an SRE engineer who is passionate about continuous improvement and wants to pioneer and expand Site Reliability Engineering within Limejump tech.

You will be working closely with our software and DevOps engineers, paving the road for adopting best SRE practices, and work on eliminating toil and improve existing services.

You will in the position report directly into our Engineering Manager.

You should apply if:

  • You have an interest in Renewable Energy and/or sustainability.
  • You know what a good, reliable service looks like, and you know how to define and track SRE metrics.
  • You know how best to monitor live services and are happy to educate others. We use Humio, Sentry and Grafana.
  • You enjoy troubleshooting and investigating. You’ll support teams to fix their incidents and help them learn from failures, and celebrate their successes.
  • You love automating processes and have the skills for it. Our codebase is Python, Go and JavaScript, but experience in other languages is welcome too.
  • You have experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Kubernetes).
