Summary of the role

The mission of the R&D team in Amadeus Hospitality is to design and deliver high performance systems that can process tens of thousands of requests per second and return the highest level of accuracy in the fastest response time. Our SaaS platforms are designed to serve millions of users who are seeking information and reservations from hotels offering millions of rooms around the world.

We are creating the next generation of technology solutions for the hospitality industry and to help us deliver, we are recruiting an experienced Release Manager. You’ll work closely with our highly skilled business analysts, software developers, and QA engineers to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions for large hotel chains. In this role, you will

Process

Review, accept or reject requests for software deployment: ensure that they follow the process in place, and they meet the entry criteria.

Ensure Quality

Coordinate, plan and track QA activities for special or technical releases (NFR testing, framework upgrades, system upgrades, technical refactors,…) Review test coverage with Test Manager, Product Definition teams and Development teams and define action plan to increase automated tests coverage

Deliver

  • Define load plan so as to support the R&D to deliver within target timeframe
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to measure and increase automated test coverage of Amadeus Hotel - IT platform
  • Constantly improve release management process to reduce impediments, minimize useless interaction, speed-up the pipeline

Communicate & Support

Ensure teams follow the organisation’s established policies and procedures. Update and communicate on the releasing policies

About the ideal candidate

  • University degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in QA, Release Management, Software Development
  • Good understanding of technical and functional specifications
  • Proficient written and verbal English
  • Knowledge of Amadeus or other GDSs is a plus
  • Experience in Hotel/ Hospitality domain is a plus
