Aww yeah, this job has expired on Pro Jobs. Reasons could be: the employer is not accepting applications, is not actively hiring, or is reviewing applications.
MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 300 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair. Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as Lincoln, RI and Denver, CO. We’re making new and exciting things – and we could really do with your help!
We are hiring a Mid-level Java Engineer to join our new Order Fulfilment Network(OFN) which is in charge of building out the new B2B platform. This team will be in charge of building a platform that follows a serverless event-driven architecture running using AWS Lambda. The OFN team currently has an MVP for the application with a limited product set but has a huge roadmap for work as we look to scale the product and you will play a key role in this plan.
Our engineers own the testing and deployment of the code they write and as a Senior in the team, we will expect you to champion engineering and testing best practices.
We do not have a huge set of skills that we look for, simply put we are looking for strong Java Engineers with a passion for continually learning and improving. Here are some of the things that we believe make a strong Java Engineer:
Everyone, regardless of their position and team, feels part of the journey. All members have a clear roadmap of targets, the vision of the business, and can influence the future of the business and the product. This is the manifestation of our values as a business which are centred around collaboration, learning and transparency.

That’s why we offer 25 days holiday rising by one day for each year here (for 5 years), a matched pension scheme, MOO’s share option scheme, and paid parental leave. We’ll offer you private healthcare, life insurance, a season ticket loan, subsidised gym membership and a cycle to work scheme.

We are passionate about diversity, and are always looking at ways to improve, to ensure we have a representative, inclusive and super-friendly team, because we know that different experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds make for a better workplace. And that creates a better experience for our customers.
