Senior Software Engineer at Hyper SQ

Job Description:

This is a rare and unique opportunity to join a well-backed start-up, right from the pre-launch stage. You’ll be working alongside a team of established operators and advisors within the technology and consumer tech space, hungry to disrupt the status quo.

Current stack: TypeScript, Node.js, Swift, Angular, Nest.js, Postgres, Rust

You will

• Own the technical direction, set the engineering strategy, and define the technical roadmap
• Lead development efforts of building and scaling the product end-to-end
• Help hire and lead a world-class team of developers and support ongoing talent
• development
• Define the tech stack, input product ideas, and innovate UX/UI patterns
• Engage in full-stack development, as well as technical tasks and code reviews
• Ensure code hygiene, best practice software and platform architecture
• Build a world-class mobile explore-to-earn product and form the foundation for future scalability

About you

• 4+ years of full-stack development, having built and scaled end-to-end mobile applications
• Strong Platform development experience
• Strong understanding of product thinking, interaction design and execution
• High energy and open to radical transparency and debate to search for the best ideas
• Entrepreneurial spirit, optimistic about the future and a mission-focussed approach to your work

Bonus points

• Worked at a fast-growing start-up, ideally building products from zero-to-one
• You are a technologist at heart, with a “best tool for the job” mindset
