Are you an experienced Agile Delivery Manager looking for a new challenge?

We are looking for a passionate, driven and experienced Agile Delivery Manager to join our Digital Transformation Consultancy Services function. This will involve working with one of our client-side Scrum Teams in the utilities, finance, or government sector but may in the future lead to more generalist agile delivery management on other clients in the future, using different methodologies such as Kanban.

You will foster a transparent environment where teams are empowered to produce usable increments each sprint, inspect the results and adjust for future sprints based on their observations.

You will be confident in an agile environment and know how to get the best out of each of your team, as well as being an exceptional communicator, able to speak to stakeholders at all levels of the business.

A day in the life of an Aiimi Delivery Manager:

  • Coach and organise teams to deliver a range of project types including short MVPs and longer term projects
  • Ability to take a statement of work, understand the key outcomes and then collaborate with subject matter experts to build and execute a delivery plan, adjusting where required to meet the outcomes
  • Identifies blockers for the squad and suggests ways to overcome these
  • Can actively remove or minimise risks, issues or dependencies where possible. Understand how the risks, issues or dependencies impact the work of a squad
  • Assist with scheduling and facilitating squad meetings, ensuring that outcomes and actions are captured and progress is tracked
  • Establish Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide
  • Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality
  • Help the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done
  • Enable the Scrum Team to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework
  • Help find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
  • Help the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items

Requirements:

  • An Agile Mindset is a must
  • Fantastic communication skills, comfortable speaking to stakeholders of all seniority
  • Ability to understand squad processes around Design, QA, CI/CD, development to understand where improvements could be made
  • Previous experience working as a Delivery Manager and/or Project Manager
