At Operate, we are significantly growing our Data Visualisation practice to support the firm in meeting new market demands and opportunities. As such, we are now looking to recruit Data Intelligence Specialist to join our Managed Data Services at Operate team. As an experienced data practitioner, you will play a significant role in the development of our services, allowing you to work with a varied client base, gain valuable exposure to cutting edge technologies and help shape what we deliver as managed services in the areas of General Data, Data Science and Data Visualisation.

Once the actionable insights have been uncovered, it is up to the business intelligence team to be able to tell a story with that data by understanding who their stakeholders are and delivering a functioning report. BI Analysts perform analysis and reporting of past historical data, while BI Consultants perform this analysis externally. BI Developers perform analysis specifically designed for the company, making use of their Python and SQL skills.

Responsibilities:

You’ll bring your extensive industry experience to lead a team of problem solvers. You will be designing strategies and working through to execution, whilst solving complex business issues. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Understanding business and technical requirements; develop, document and implement solution design

  • Forging and building new relationships throughout Operate to ensure the visibility of the Technology team’s production capability

  • Hands on delivery of solutions throughout the entire life cycle, including day-to-day management of ongoing engagements

  • Ensure that deliverables meet or exceed functional, technical and performance requirements

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

  • Assisting in upskilling your team and ensuring successful delivery

  • Liaising with operational/executive level grades

  • Transforming, analysing and producing reports and dashboards to a range of stakeholders including Operate, wider PwC and our clients

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in problem solving and being able to implement and deliver solutions

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous relevant industry experience, preferably in an IT-related discipline

  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, Microstrategy, Google Data Studio or comparable

  • Knowledge of Data Analytical tools (Alteryx, KNIME or Equivalent))

  • Experience in data handling, manipulation and reporting

  • Proven experience and background in data visualisation to a wide range of stakeholders

  • Willingness to expand technical knowledge in a broad range of client facing projects

  • Experience with SQL

  • Advanced levels in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with languages such as Python, R, SQL, Google App Script/JavaScript, AngularJS, D3.js, HTML/CSS, and Visual Basic

  • Exposure to any elements of Artificial Intelligence such as Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning

  • Alteryx certifications

  • DevOps experience
