As a dynamic and growing organisation, a position for a senior embedded software engineer has become available at either our Hereford or London Rickmansworth office.
As a hands-on engineer you will work with a team of highly skilled developers and deliver commercial projects and R&D work across a variety of products and technologies.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will assist in development projects and you will design, develop and test software using a range of programming languages and platforms.
The successful delivery of projects to short lead times will require you to plan and coordinate activities across the full delivery lifecycle. You must have proven technical capability with a track record in software development.
You will be joining a team of diverse skills and experience and the job requires a motivated individual who is experienced in taking responsibility and can independently deliver results.
Knowledge in the following areas will be essential
Bare metal and Linux multithread embedded C programming / debugging
Linux and bare metal driver interfacing to SPI, I2C, RS232/485, CAN
Hardware and board level debug
Microchip PIC18/32 or similar
HTML, JavaScript
Networking experience in TCP/IP, UDP
