Job Description:

Location: Atlanta, GA or Virtual (preference is Atlanta)

A strategic role responsible for the global Governance and Life Cycle Management Strategy for the Vendor Domain. Stewards the adoption of master data management strategies and accountabilities to ensure that the data meets business expectations and requirements. Product owner for the capabilities to create, maintain, and update vendor master data records. Responsible for representing the interests of various stakeholders across TCCC system for the development team.

What You’ll Do for Us:

Global Governance Lead:

  • Establish and define the vision, goals, and roadmap for vendor master data lifecycle management and capabilities

  • Ensure stakeholder alignment on vision, priorities, implementation, and governance

  • Work closely with business leadership to ensure continual alignment around the development, maintenance, access, use, security, retention, and retirement of vendor master data

  • Define requirements for proactive monitoring, detecting, assessing and cleansing data quality issues to ensure fit for use and sustained quality and collaborate with Data & Analytics Operations team to implement Serve as a point of escalation for governance, data quality and protection issues

  • Responsible for the Data Governance Council which meets regularly in order to ensure buy-in and ownership from all stakeholders

  • Collaborate with prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into business requirements

  • Bring the outside in—research and curate domain best practices from internal and external sources

Global Agile Product Owner:

  • Owner of the product backlog and prioritizing development work based on changing business needs through collaboration with stakeholders

  • Overseeing and evaluate all stages of product creation including design, development, and deployment

  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints meetings

  • Delivers master data business process and technology solutions.

  • Partners with Reference Data Lead to support business needs for customer/vendor/consumer

Project Leadership:

Provide subject matter expertise for various stakeholders as that design, develop and deploy initiatives that require master data

Collaborate with the Metadata Strategy & Capabilities Lead to ensure complete and accurate metadata is maintained and available, along with related governance processes

Partner with the Strategic Initiatives Lead to provide direct support on business initiatives that require evolving master data processes, architecture, and metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred

  • 5+ years of work experience in data management

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, development, and deployment

  • Experience balancing immediate and short-term needs and delivering results

  • Consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design

  • Experience with the following technology: MDM (e.g. Informatica), ERP (e.g. SAP), Project Management (e.g. JIRA), Metadata Management (e.g. Azure Data Catalog), MS Office365

  • Travel:  0-25%

Skills:

  • A fundamental understanding of data governance best practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection

  • Ability to work with stakeholders to establish, maintain, and socialize data standards to drive consistency and compliance

  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and processes

  • alance of technical knowledge and business acumen

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity as well as lead change

  • Ability to work across multiple cultures

  • Project management best practices

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively influence upward and downward across the organization
