Job Description:

Day-to-day:

Collaborate with creative digital designers to plan and implement responsive mobile and web applications Working in an Agile team to allow development of small, incremental released and rapid iteration Estimation of tasks for a wide range of projects

Projects you'll be working on:

• Range of projects from main brand websites with huge amounts of multi-lingual content, through to smaller one-off projects such as marketing micro-sites
• General Client Websites
• Working within the digital creative team to deliver a wide range of web-based projects ranging from one-page marketing microsites to full-scale content managed websites for global brands

Development - software, code & frameworks you'll be working with:

JavaScript:

• Knowledge and experience in at least one of these areas: Vanilla, jQuery, Redux, and ES6
• Knowledge and experience of tools and libraries (lodash, underscore, Express, etc.)
• Experience using REST APIs

CSS:

• Sass
• Responsive layout
• Methodologies such as BEM

HTML:

• Semantic HTML5
• HTML5 features such as canvas and media elements
• Browser APIs including geo-location support, local storage and web sockets
• Experience of accessibility
• Web Performance

Build Tools/Bundlers:

• Grunt/Gulp/Webpack
• Linting
• PostCSS
• Version Control
• SVN/Git
• Testing
• TDD

Testing frameworks/libraries:-

• Jest
• Cha
• Mocha
• Enzyme
