Project Description
You will join the Data, Analytics and Reporting team who manages the data platform used by Banks Risk, Finance and Market Operations functions. Our goal is to help the business we support to unlock the full potential of their data.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be working on the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions using a broad range of technologies including Hadoop, Spark and AWS. You'll bring your in-depth knowledge of big data best practices and a desire to work in a DevOps environment.
Skills
Must have
To excel in this role, you will be:
• highly proficient in Hadoop and related technologies including HDFS, Spark, Impala and Hive
• highly proficient in Java, Scala and/or Python
• experienced with data modelling
• experienced with CI/CD
• familiar with AWS including S3, IAM and EC2
• proactive and have great communication skills
