Software Development Engineer - Multiple Opportunities

About the role

To maintain our worldwide leader position in the travel industry, we are growing our teams with multiple opportunities for C++ Software Developers. Being part of an Agile team (Scrum, SAFe or Kanban), you will be developing software to facilitate journey for millions of travelers every year. Work out what customers need: you can come up with plans to create new software or improve what we have. Use your technical skills to implement relevant solutions: you’ll do that by designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining software solutions. With software architects, you will also design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies. You’ll be supported by a community of Principal Engineers on your daily work to share coding best practices! Check that your solutions work: you’ll run unit, component and performance tests. Then go through the phase of checking if your software works for others, and finally, fine-tune your software as a result of all your testing. Improve our CI/CD: your ideas on how to constantly improve our CI/CD are valued. We welcome DevOps mindset and you will participate to the building and improvement of tools and processes to support our migration to Microsoft Azure cloud.

You should have:

Technical skills and know-how:

• Degree educated or equivalent work experience
• Working or University knowledge of C++, ideally in a Linux environment, with a desire to gain a deeper understanding
• You have good knowledge in RDMS/SQL (Oracle preferred)
• Experience with other programming languages such as Java, Python, Perl and Java Script
• Practical experience in building and supporting complex applications in a production environment will be beneficial
• Experience in Agile and SAFe methodology is a plus
