The Engineering Manager role at Attest is a multi-faceted one, requiring a high degree of technical skill, people management and business acumen - our Engineering Managers are first and foremost leaders.
We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to lead our Answers team. The Answers team is responsible for processing, analysing and aggregating information from 100,000s of survey questions asked every day. The questions are answered by our panels - our combined panel reach is 125 million people in 58 countries. We use traditional statistical methods as well as machine learning to make sense of large data sets that ultimately help our customers make better decisions. We have big plans for our Answers team and so you will be pivotal in the company's success. If you enjoy crunching large data sets to find real insight and coaching others to do the same we’d like to talk.
We don’t have a requirement that you know any specific technology stack(s) but are familiar enough with enough comparable technologies in order to get up to speed quickly. The tech we use is: Vue, TypeScript, Webpack, Vite, Jest, Cypress, Storybook, Java, Kafka, go, AWS (RDS, ECS, Redshift).
To form a strong roadmap with our Product Manager peer, driven toward the company’s goals. You will need to grow existing team members by coaching and managing them toward success. You will also be a key player in the technical directions of not only the Answers team but the company.
We are a flexible employer and continue to work with the team on the ground to navigate our way through the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic together.
As a company, we aren’t a fully remote company and place strong emphasis on teams being able to meet, and spend time together in a safe and flexible environment regularly, as well as being able to travel to meet customers when rules and safety considerations permit. We always want to ensure that is balanced against having a healthy approach to flexible working/working from home and nurturing your life outside of work as well as in work.
With that in mind, we have a permanent office location at 25 Holywell Row, London EC2A 4XE**,** London, where our team spend time together on a weekly basis. We don’t set specific rules, but expect folks to spend time with the team in the office on average 3 days per week.
We believe that everyone’s unique skills and experience are important and we celebrate every hire we make. Our pay and benefits programme is designed with a focus on the wellbeing, engagement and growth of our people.
