About the Role

We're a small, agile team working together to ensure that our merchants have the best possible mobile payments experience. We empower developers to deliver value for their customers with our out-of-the-box mobile SDKs that power payments for some of the world’s best known brands. Our team builds mobile SDKs, which are used by a number of our leading merchants to process payments. Our goal is simple: provide the greatest optionality at the checkout, with the fastest integration, at the lowest cost. You’ll play an important role in the development of the next generation of mobile payments and your work will define a best-in-class experience for the payments industry. This is our payment interfaces SDK that helps businesses accept payments on their iOS app. The ideal person for this role would be someone who can strike the balance between shipping quickly and writing tested and resilient code. You’ll work closely with other engineers, our Product Manager, Patrick, and our Engineering Manager, Deepesh, so it's important you’re a team player.

About you

  • Several years of experience in iOS development.
  • Passion for iOS development: you love to develop and stay up to date with latest - - developments in and around iOS and other mobile related technologies.
  • Experience developing custom SDKs using Swift.
  • Knowledge of XCode build tools with build and distribution pipelines (certificates, provisioning profiles etc.).
  • Knowledge of Core iOS Concepts - Application LifeCycle, Delegates, Multithreading, GCD, Memory Management etc.
  • Experience working with advanced Apple iOS Encryption APIs and other 3rd party encryption libraries.
  • Experience working with different dependency management tools for custom iOS SDKs like cocoapods, carthage or SPM.
  • Mentoring / Coaching other team members.
  • Setting standards for mobile best practices across the wider Mobile SDK team. Excellent problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Experience working with CI / CD using tools like bitrise.
  • Knowledge of the payments industry is a plus, but not required.
