Electrolux Global IT Solutions team is strengthening its focus and capabilities in the area of Cloud Service. For this purpose we are looking for our new Cloud Solution Engineer.

You will be part of the Global Cloud & Hosting unite, where we also deliver on-prem hosting services, operation centre and monitoring services, group wide identity and access management services as well as DevOps tooling.

Cloud Office’s mission is to drive the Electrolux cloud strategy, govern and develop the approved cloud platforms as well as implement application specific solutions.

In this role you will play a crucial role for cloud services managed by Global Solution’s Cloud Office as well as develop the cloud journey we are embarking on.

As a Cloud Solution Engineer you are expected to drive platform solutioning and architectural advisory/review for the solutions that are being built. Through giving good advice and direction to the development teams, you contribute to enable an increased use of cloud native solutions within Electrolux in a responsible, secure and resource efficient fashion.

Your main tasks:

• Drive solution implementation and enhancement for the Azure platform and applications.

• Assist the team to develop processes that facilitate the effective scaling and delivery of cloud-based services.

• Improves existing products and procedures by evaluating latest trends and conducting POC’s.

• Collaborate and communicates with IT Technical teams, end users and DevOps on application modernization strategies and implementation.

• Identifying business requirements and matching them to product features

• Using your understanding of the different Azure tech components to support developers that work on the platform with good advice on how to build solutions.

Qualifications :

• Minimum three years of hands-on experience working with cloud solutioning (Azure).

• Solid experience of working with a wide array of Azure components.

• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding.

• Good and broad knowledge of computer security (certificates, web authentication, etc.).

• Comfortable with technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.

Preferred experience:

• Work in established project management frameworks including Azure DevOps, Scrum (Agile/Kanban), Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket etc).

• Comfortable writing code in either Python, Scala or Java.

• Experience of working with automation of Azure resource provisioning and/or of granting user permissions on the platform.

• Knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining containerized solutions with Docker and Kubernetes on the Azure platform.
